This fine product arrived on the retail scene amid loud fanfare and great market acceptance primarily because of its expensive Connecticut wrapper and delicate blend which among informed smokers was considered a serious challenge to Macanudo. Truly, this is a fine premium cigar that justly deserved its place on the tobacconist’s shelf right next to its more famous look alike. Perhaps that explains its demise. Despite its comparable quality and mildness, it just couldn’t overcome the reputation of the more famous Macanudo.
